Ay up there folks!
My name is Lewis and my artist name being Mellow, I’m a tattoo apprentice and illustrator from Nottingham. My whole life I have always found myself inclined to drawing, and I feel very lucky to say that this is what I do full time.
The majority of drawing I do is in my sketchbooks but the majority of what people see at the minute is my tattoo flash which is typically finished and refined on photoshop.
Obviously a huge part of my life is tattooing, it’s a very fun and freeing job to have that I don’t take for granted. The drawing side I love which is how I fell into this but it’s also this ‘human connection’ and the trust, and the ability to give people that little more confidence with a tattoo they need is what makes me love it.
